Life of a sibling of a person with special needs can be extremely challenging, difficult and rewarding. We have developed this sibling support group to help siblings understand their situation and interact with peers. Siblings of someone with special needs can often feel, left out or alone because parents time can be difficult to split evenly between children. This group is facilitated by siblings of children with special needs, that have specific understanding of issues with oversight by professionals with a keen interest in supporting children.
In this group siblings can bake, do arts and crafts, play games, learn beauty skills, play pool, PS4 as well a chat and interact with peers with similar interests
This is a small monthly group for ages 6-14 yrs that is back beginning on Saturday 27th July from 10am -12pm, this is a drop off activity held at Unit 72 Eastlink Business park, Ballysimon Road, Limerick.
