We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for our Autism ID card. This card has been developed to support people with autism and their families. These ID card’s will only be issued to people with autism and will be subject to the same vetting as our parking permits. After many discussions with many families and businesses all over Ireland we have agreed that the cost of this card will be €20 Valid for a two year period. The card will be valid for use at all of our public events, which will remove the need for explanation or proof of diagnosis.. It will also be valid for ongoing discounts from our Corporate partners . Each card will require a photograph to be submitted with the application and this will be embossed on to the card along with a security hologram to prevent abuse and reproduction.

This card is issued to the person with autism once evidence of diagnosis has accepted

Please Note the renewal form below is only for renewal of an ASD Ireland ID card… Our Card Numbers begin with 1005 – Cards From IAA, ASIAM or ISA must go through the full application above and will not be printed.
This Form cannot be used for any other ID card Renewals
Verification
Each applicant will be required to submit, through our secure portal, documented clinical evidence of a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. These cards are only available to applicants that provide this information.
All ID cards are fitted with unique hologram technology to ensure these cannot be copied or reproduced by any other source.
Our cards are Not issued by any other organization and are issued Directly from our head office in Limerick.
Who can apply?
Any person with autism from any country can apply for and use our Autism ID Card.
We will accept a diagnosis in form of a clinical document from a verified practitioner. However, Please note that recognition of the document is at the discretion of the service and is subject to verification
